Explore Tenterden by bike

The town of Tenterden has a new website www.exploretenterden.co.uk featuring a walking heritage route, points of interest and walking routes around the area, along with lots of other features and information. The What's On page of the website shows all upcoming events happening around the town to help people plan their visits.

There is also a new page on the Explore Kent website featuring Tenterden Town walking and cycling routes, along with a downloadable Active Travel map of the town:

 

Within Tenterden, known as the Jewel of the Weald, you have the Tenterden & District Museum with over 1,000 years of local history and special exhibitions and Kent & East Sussex Railway which offers trips through the beautiful Rother Valley, towards Bodiam Castle.
